           Albert Rubio is a license professional engineer in State of Texas license No. 89455 with 25 plus years experience in mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire protection design. He is an active member in engineering professional organizations such as a member of American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) , American Society of Heating, Ventilating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning  Engineers (ASHRAE).  Mr. Rubio is a former leadership lab graduate classmate of 2005 and recognized by the city of San Antonio for the Greater Chamber of Commerce.  He is also an active member with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce  in city of San Antonio.  ABR consulting engineering company has been in business for 2 years.

        As a project manager and project engineer his responsibilities is to determine the conceptual mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design systems for new and renovated projects  He also reviews the design process through the design phases and seals construction documents.  Also, has the responsibility to oversee the construction administration through final substantial completion of the project. As a team leader he organizes and assigned by delegating tasks to his workers on a timely manner to meet the client expectations and be within the construction budgets.

         His experience and expertise are in the field of mechanical, electrical systems, plumbing and fire protection design and construction administration.  He also has completed small to large complex electrical and mechanical systems as follows: 

         1). Design low voltage and 600 volt power distribution system, switch gear, motor control centers, emergency and standby power single and dual fuel generators consisting of diesel, natural gas and propane, uninterrupted power systems (UPS), critical circuit, lighting protection and transient voltage suppression systems (TVSS).

         2). Large chilled water central plants approx. 3000 tons of cooling load by utilizing several systems applications such as air cooled chillers, water cooled chillers, forced and natural draft cooling towers, ammonia chillers and ice storage plants. 

         3). The cooling central plant systems consist of parallel and series chiller configurations. 

         4). Designed the chilled water primary, secondary and tertiary chilled water system loops.
